I am truly blessed to be a teacher at Grace Lutheran School! Our older son Alec attended school here from Pre-K through 8th grade. When he was in 6th grade, I started here as an aide for a year and then moved into a teaching position in middle school language arts. Our younger son Jace also attends Grace Lutheran.
I graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in education and an English major. I later graduated from UND again with a master’s degree in education, majoring in reading and ELL. In between these two degrees and prior to coming to Grace, I taught at DGF Schools, both junior and senior high, as well as Interstate Business College and Aakers/Rasmussen Colleges. In addition, I taught night school in the adult ESL program through the Fargo Public School system.
While all of those experiences were important and worthwhile, I have never felt more fulfilled and blessed than I have here at Grace Lutheran School. Being able to integrate faith with academics is essential to educating the whole child, and I am so grateful to be a part of it!
