Mrs. Worral Profile

Carolyn Worral grew up in a family of five in Wahpeton, ND.  She has two younger brothers Brian and Bruce.  She graduated from Wahpeton High School.  She then attended Concordia College-St. Paul, MN where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in 1-6 teaching and a major in the Director of Christian Education (church youth worker) program. She later obtained her Kindergarten endorsement from Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN.

Carolyn’s first professional job involved being a Pre-school teacher and director in Chadron, NE at Our Savior’s Lutheran Pre-School.

After moving to Fargo, ND, she worked in different teaching positions at Grace Lutheran School including being a Pre-School teacher aide, a Kindergarten teacher, a 1st and 2nd grade teacher aide, a second grade teacher, a 3rd grade religion teacher, and a piano teacher.

Carolyn is married to Pastor Bernie Worral.  They attend Immanuel Lutheran Church with their four children Hannah, Katie, Caleb, and Joshua.  All of their children have attended Grace Lutheran School from Pre-School through 8th grade.  They are very pleased with the academic and spiritual nurture that their children have received at the school.

Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, playing organ and piano, helping with various LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) functions at church, helping with Vacation Bible School, leading Sunday School music closings for the N-PK-K children and working in the garden.

The main goal that Carolyn has as a Christian teacher is to share the love of Jesus with the children she teaches.   Another goal is to try to balance learning so that every developmental area (social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual) is given equal importance in the classroom.
